Harvest and Treatment Time!

Hi All,

It’s the time of year that many of you are harvesting honey and then treating your hives for mites.  One of the options is to use Formic Acid.  It’s available in several types of applications from suppliers.  Our friend Bill Ruzicka is in the process of pulling honey and treating his hives.  He has invited anyone who would like to observe or purchase Formic pads in small orders to come to his apiary this week.  Just give him a call and he will arrange a time.  250-762-8156.

A reminder the IPE is coming up and Keith Rae is hosting the Beekeeping and Honey Display.  Drop him a line if you are interested in helping out.  K_S_Rae@hotmail.com
